1 Box of Spaghetti

This is an ongoing series of sculptures that started earlier this year, that began with me using one box of spaghetti to create a form. There are really no major conceptual breakthroughs going on in this work, I just really love the material and method. I am pushing the limits of these spaghetti sculptures by experimenting with their limitations, as well as applying an obsessive compulsive type of attention to detail and form. These pieces are very meditatively manifested, and I often use them as a break from another project in the studio. It gives me time to think and reflect, and than even when I relax and escape from my work- I am still getting something done.
