Self Portrait

Heres a more classically rendered wax bust of yours truly. Originally the bust was done in clay, and was then painted in several coats of latex before a plaster mother-mold was created to hold the empty latex casing. The clay bust is than removed, and wax is poured into the void. I will have a post up soon that better illustrates this complex and fascinating process. I must say though, that hat is simply to die for!
