
This is the latest piece in my "Styro-Forms" series, a series of more-so "object like" works that are created by a simple method of carving forms into blocks of styrofoam, pouring plaster into those negative spaces, and than reductively uncovering select parts of the styrofoam off of the plaster forms. I find the texture to be absolutely beautiful, as well as the questioning of process it evokes to most viewers. Below, are some of the first works created last
